Watch This week's sermon
What does it mean to be someone "after God's own heart?" David was an extrodinary man - intellegent, handsome, and gifted. Yet in other ways he was very troubled, often gripped by destructive passion and rocked by family chaos and personal tragedy. Why is he the one character in the Bible that is described as "a man after God's own heart?" Davids life offers hope to us all, ultimately found in the Gospel of Christ - that when when Jesus has control of our lives we are made more into his image.
