bridge groups

why groups?

Our mission at The Bridge is to make disciples that celebrate the gospel in worship, apply the gospel in community, and extend the gospel on mission.  One of the ways we seek to accomplish this is through Community Groups and Discipleship Groups.  Our conviction is that faith is to be lived out in the context of authentic relationships.  Jesus was the ultimate model for us.  He identified his people. He invited them into every area of his life.  He shared meals with them. He intentionally prepared them.  He constantly lived on mission with them.  We want our people to do the same.

types of groups

COMMUNITY GROUPS
These groups are all about moving people from proximity into community. Why? Because it is impossible to live out the “one-another” commands if you are living in isolation. Each community group has a different personality and rhythm but all share the same key elements: fellowship, encouragement, Christ-centered connections, Scriptural engagement, and prayerful dependance.

Purpose: to cultivate gospel-centered community, care and conversation
Size: varies by group
Commitment: per semester (ongoing)
Course of Study:  sermon based discussion guides (occasional study)
