Week 2 | Matthew 5:7-12

May 17, 2026    Jared Patrick

As Jesus continues the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:7–12, He paints a picture of what life in the kingdom of God truly looks like. Mercy, purity, peacemaking, and perseverance through persecution all become marks of those who belong to Christ, even when the world values something different.

This message reminds us that following Jesus often means living counter-culturally. Yet even in hardship and opposition, there is deep blessing and lasting hope for those who remain faithful to Him.
